This update contains the following improvements:

  • Addresses an issue that has impacted the performance of Appx PowerShell cmdlets since PowerShell 7.1.
  • Fixed an issue where some users would see an “Illegal Image” dialog box on startup.
  • Fixed an issue where Searchindexer.exe would not respond during the download process in a remote desktop environment.
  • Fixed SearchFilterHost.exe startup process problem. Support for lifting daylight saving time was added in the Republic of Fiji in 2021.
  • Fixed an issue where devices with certain processors would not respond when in sleep mode.

  • Flickering is fixed when the mouse is held over an icon in the system tray. This problem occurs when a high contrast design is applied.
  • The Accessibility folder in the Start menu has been renamed Ease of Access to meet the Windows 11 (original version) naming criteria.
